I recently finished my Masters in Cyber Security and have a Bachelors in Software Development. As much as I love the technical aspect of my degrees, I think the happiest me would be in tech sales. I had found an opportunity at IBM for entry level sales starting in 2023 and was wondering if anyone had gone through this or the Summit program? Looking for insight on applying and would love to chat with anyone who has or currently works for IBM! Thanks in advance!
What US law firms tend to hire more LLMs?
PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

Prioritize the place you can get in and like the people. It’s your first job. They’re paying you to learn. Pick a place you are most comfortable, can learn and be successful. Exit opportunities and reputation, etc are irrelevant at this point. Young people put way too much emphasis on this.
Great advice here
You have not even joined the work force and are talking about exit opps?
You should decline the offer and be homeless
A lot of people would kill for KPMG Strategy, a lot of people would kill to even get a job offer
Yep...
We have great culture and WLB (depending on your practice). Your first few years, pay won’t be great but you will gain quickly around year 3. From an exit perspective, you’ll be a Cal grad with a big4 name on your resume, I’m sure you’ll be like, fine. But no snobbery please, it’s one of my favorite things about our culture 😅
Which groups have better WLB would you say?
KPMG Strategy has good and bad parts, but culture is a definite good. Especially in the Transaction Execution half of strategy
Would you really decline without another offer in hand? That seems like it could be a bit risky.
KPMG is the least prestigious of the big 4, but is still a pretty good firm
Subject Expert
By any metric, higher than KPMG.
Source: Anyone outside KPMG.
Good opportunity? Possibly! More prestigious than most other firms? Probably not
Most other firms in the world, KPMG is more prestigious. Most other consulting firms of comparable size, than KPMG comes after MBB, probably Tier2 (LEK,OW,Kerney etc), and probably the other big4
I’d say take it given your goals. Also depends on what the actual numbers are. I like it here
