What should someone starting a solo practice know before starting? 4 years of legal experience trying to start something on the side while keeping current 9-5, so when I’m ready to start a family I can make up my own hours. I’d be doing simple, single family closings as a real estate attorney in NYC. Other than basics like getting approval from current job and ensuring no conflict, creating an LLC, and getting malpractice insurance, etc. what should one know before starting?
