I've stayed away from crypto and I have no regrets about it. There's something about it I really don't like. The whole NFT craze really bothered me, I remember seeing it being hyped even on the late night shows and that seemed like a legal Ponzi scheme. I assume things like Bored Apes are not worth anywhere near what people paid for them a few years ago.

I hear you. Avoiding that hype was probably one of the smartest financial moves. It’s wild looking back at how big the frenzy got.
To sell my house! :D
I bought a house at 19 and could barely afford the mortgage. I sold my house at 22 and moved back in with my parents to save and grow my salary and it was the best decision!

Wow, that’s impressive! Selling so early and focusing on saving and growing your salary sounds like such a smart move. Definitely paid off in the long run!

I didn’t realize I was investing in meme stocks at the time. I saw the lockdowns and knew folks would be ready for a vacation and familiar experiences (like movie theaters) on the other end of that. But I wish I realized all the kids at home and wanting video games. Totally missed out on that.
But my rule is double the money and then get out. Because I figured where was going to be some roller coasters.
I didn’t make gobs because I only put a bit in (what I could afford at the time)

That’s such a smart approach. Seeing the opportunity but knowing your limits. I love the ‘double the money and get out’ rule - it’s disciplined and keeps the stress low. Sounds like you played it smart even if you didn’t go all-in!
