Made comments regarding my personal life.

There was a customer complaint … my area manager came to my store (worked in retail at the time) to reprimand me. So it was me, store mgr & area mgr in the meeting. Area mgr starts by telling me what happened w/ customer and that it was me. I tell him that I don’t recall anything like that happening. Then he tells me that there have been other complaints about me. I look at my store manager and I ask him if that’s true. He says not to his knowledge he has not heard any complaints about me. So the area manager, then tells me he has no choice, but to take me out of that store and transfer me to another store. And of course, the other store he put me at was the smallest, creepiest, furthest from my house, in a bad neighborhood. I went and told my coworker what happened and she said that that was HER that was helping the customer!! (We both have same 1st name). So they transferred me- I made sure to tell the Area mgr and store mgr that it was the other employee and told them both that they lost a good manager (me) because they didn’t bother getting all the facts!!!

It's pretty weird to see how terrified people in the US get about the "threat to society" that socialism poses while ignoring the fascism that is *already here*.

I know you don't want another USSR, neither do I. I also don't want another Nazi Germany, so stop voting fascists into our government. The closest we have to socialists in Congress are people like Bernie, who's not starting a revolution. Meanwhile almost all of the R's in the Senate are against a bill that would prevent another coup.

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.
