I was wondering if anyone works as a medical examiner assistant (gov) and what your salary is?

I work in accounting/finance and have been at my company for over 10 years. I am planning to leave and put in my notice right after I receive my bonus which is right around when “busy season” starts. Unfortunately more than half of my annual income comes from my bonus. I feel terrible about this because it will cause my team to work extra hours during a busy time, but the company is toxic. Any tips? I don’t want to burn bridges with the non-toxic folks.

Seeking tips and tricks on how successfully negotiate part time PA work. I’m a burned out full time mom that’s lost passion for the PA life. I'm new to the Fidelity HSA account. If I have all my money in my HSA invested into stocks, bonds, etc. (No cash balance at all) and I suddenly have to pay for a medical expense, do I have to first manually sell the stocks to pay off my medical bill, or will Fidelity automatically sell the stocks for me so that I can pay for my medical bill?

I'm currently working for a startup that has been unable to pay us for 2ish months while they are trying to secure investor funding. They said they will back pay us and (we're working much fewer hours) and they were reaching into their personal savings for months before and never took a salary. I’ve been a registered nurse for about four years (ambulatory care & I loved it but felt like I missed something not being inpatient) and been a little lost. This past year has been terrible w/ jobs & have had about 5 some contracted some just so awful the stories would blow your hair back & I had to walk out. Finally, I decided to take a telemetry inpatient nurse job & I’ve been there a month & just got another job back in ambulatory. Can some one please give me advice of what I should do.

Hey nurses, did you become a CNA first? Or go straight into a nursing program? My cousin wants to become a nurse and, I'm going to be totally frank here, I don't think he can hack it. I recommended that he maybe do his CNA first to get a taste for it, but he's insisting he's prepared to nursing. Part of me is worried because a lottttt of people in my cohort in school were regularly partying and doing hard subs (was this the same for others??), and my cousin is susceptible to peer pressure.

I am a 17 year seasoned outpatient PT in Tampa FL who is the current head PT for my clinic. I do marketing, admin duties as well as staffing. I haven’t gotten a base hourly salary raise in 8 years! (I do get a percentage of profits but due to Covid, haven’t gotten one in 2 yrs). I do not get 401k, con Ed or health insurance benefits.

Hi everyone! I am a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) and have been with my company for a bit over a year and a half. Currently, I am a clinical liaison at a large skilled nursing company in the Houston Medical Center. I have recently been offered multiple positions making more and working fewer hours . I have only worked with my previous company for roughly six months, but I feel I am underpaid. How much do people in this position make, and how do I go about asking for a raise? Is it too soon?

Supervisor said I couldn’t have week off for vacation this summer bc another coworker of higher seniority asked off the same week and two people can’t go on vacation at the same time because of staffing. But this coworker that asked off works different shift than me? He works 1st shift I work second. We have a total of 8 workers and no more than 4 work a day. can easily be covered. This has never been a problem until this year (we got a new supervisor). we’re used to being short staffed anyway
