For me it's things like feeding my cats . It's so nice interacting with them in the morning.
Rising Star
I wish so much that I had a cat. I miss the companionship of a cat. We have a dog, but it is just not the same
Coffee, breakfast, watch a little TV usually the news, straighten up, feed the cats then get ready for work. I like taking my time in the morning and usually spend an hour and a half at home before leaving for school. 👍

I agree!I am pretty selfish with my morning routine, and I get a bit frustrated when I have to share the space if the family gets up early.

I always drink my Caramel protein coffee and eat a piece of raisins bread while I listen to an audio book or podcast. But then my calm is over as I rush through the day.

I hear that. I feel like the morning is my only true calm time so i really try to savor it.
I get up at 3:50, shower, get dressed, do hair, fix coffee, and leave no later then 5:15 so I’m at school by 6. I pass many schools, train tracks, and deal with much traffic so to avoid as much as possible I’ve chosen this time frame. I say my prayers on the way to school and home, as I drink my coffee. I wash my very thick hair on Saturday’s, since it’s coarse, and don’t want to strip any additional oils from my hair by washing it more.

I always get up a little too early so I can have a little “me time”. If I don’t do that, I won’t make time for myself all day.
