1:1 with management is kinda fake at DTDL.
Only your direct tpms will chat with you. And listen to your demands or deliveries or expectations.
Real conversation happens between tpms and directors. All decisions happen there and you are not a part of your career direction. They decide who gets what in your team.
And their numbers sheet goes to HR for calibration where they may even reduce the rating for someone from EEE to MEE, or reduce hike percentages.
Your tpms get the sheet from Sr mgmt and you you hear the disheartening news on the phone from tpms.
Bhai for me in the last 2 yrs (2 appraisal cycle) it has been always the case the manager tells the rating to the team individually. How come yours was done by TPM? :)
