My role has changed a lot & I’m wondering if anyone has salary advice or can point me towards some comparable job titles to research. Originally I was hired as a Talent Source reaching out to candidates scheduling interviews writing creative inmail campaigns for the team, reviewing applications etc. Now I am an admin in our ATS managing and customizing workflows, templates, custom fields, trouble shooting etc. I am also doing market research and building dashboards to monitor our analytics

Finishing 90 days in new role and I am doing really, really well. The only thing is that I get the vibe that people in management and my peers feel that I’m arrogant. I take feedback well or so I think. I ask questions when I don’t know things and I admit and own things when I’m wrong. The only thing is that I tend to like to work on my own and it’s because I have an introverted personality, I think. Am I fucking up? Is it envy? Or am I arrogant?

Saw this and thought it was a pretty good explanation for company culture: Culture is not what you write down. It's what people tell their friends who ask what it's like to work there. It's what people compare to when they get pings from recruiters. It's how people feel when they log on and off for the day.

I’m a senior sales person that just left my first job (where I was ranked top 10% in sales, worked for 5 years, qualified for presidents club 3 times & was very well known & respected) for a new company that will definitely be better, but I am starting over. Also, working from home for the first time (last job deemed “essential”).

What are some things you all have done to stay motivated during the climb of starting over? Also when learning to work from home?

I’ve been given a project to create a database that houses everything for our talent acquisition department including tips, best practices, processes, etc. I’ve been given free reign on creating the entire thing from scratch but I’m running out of ideas! Looking to get into SaaS sales but my experience is in construction and fine furniture (I was a sales manager and was able to lead my team of 4 people to consistently hit 450k monthly targets). I did that for almost 2 years before making the switch. I miss sales, though. Does anyone have any connections to companies looking? I have also considered a sales analyst role considering that I am moderately versed in Salesforce and have worked both the customer facing and sales generating side. TIA!

Associate District Manager = SMB Account Executive

District Manager = Senior SMB AE???

Mid Market AE = true mid market AE/super high up AE??

Hello fellow HR pros! I really need your opinions on HR certifications. I am deciding between PHR and SHRM-cp. I have read just about all there is online comparing the two and can not decide. My heart is telling me PHR, my mother in law (an HRBP) is telling me to go with SHRM, as it’s more widely recognized, more established and a larger network in general. I work for a 350~ company who is growing rapidly through M&A. Passions/interests are compliance, strategic vision, M&A, branding and culture

I am being offered a Senior AE role, but the Head of B2B is also hiring a Head of Sales, North America.

I met with the person who will be leading NA sales, and do not think hes the right person for the job. Not someone I think I can learn much from.

Would you share this with the Head of B2B? Or is it not my place?

Has anyone bought/ done the HRCI Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion in HR Management? I already have my PHR, but I’m looking to gain more knowledge/skills and beef up my resume. Is it worth doing? The course is $239 and you get 12 Recert credits with it.

How do I write that I managed 2 teams, but at different times? "Managed two teams of 10 employees" sounds like I managed both at once. It was really two different teams of 5 people at different times
