Good luck! The hardest part is the revision and editing. Please ask for feedback from trusted peers! It took several iterations to get my resume to the point where hiring managers or recruiters said unsolicited that it was a good resume.
To do this, I had to
1) Add a summary section with bulleted items. Example: “X years of experience as backend developer with Y years as team lead and Z years of Python and FastAPI”
2) Where possible, quantify the impact that I made and include both the percentage change and quantity. For example: “Saved 45 min (37% reduction) by automating X”. I used reasonable estimates (minutes accuracy not seconds accuracy) as I no longer had access to the raw numbers. Please just make sure to document your assumptions and derivation process so you don’t have to reverse engineer them from your final numbers.
3) Add a skills section to aid in automated keyword matching. However, if you list the skill, you must be able to defend it in a technical interview. For example, for “AWS ALB”, something like what are the advantages or primary features of AWS ALB in comparison to AWS ELB.
Formatting. Many options and target is to select a format that is attractive and easy on the eye, while functional to display the information in a logical way.
Content, not much trouble with it as there is plenty of guidance out there on what to do; plus ChatGPT is pretty good advisor that allows for easy customization of resume for the open job

Summarizing enough of what I work on in a context that is unclassified and makes sense to the general public, is the hardest for me. I think I have finally found a good point to start with now that I have talked to others in my field by recently attending a conference on my own dime. After that, I ask my spouse to look it over, and then ask genai for a general overview of what could be rephrased in this resume.
