28M. First time solo travel 3 week trip to Spain coming up. Flying Royal Air Maroc from US. They’re allowing 2 check in bags and 1 carry on. However, I want to travel light and am trying to avoid check in bags completely. Over the last few years I’ve allowed myself to gain 40 pounds. I often feel uncomfortable and unattractive in my own body, and I fear that the extra weight puts me at greater risk if I were to catch Covid (though I am vaccinated). Despite all this, I struggle to find the motivation to change. I have lost weight before, but it all came creeping back. I feel very cynical about trying to lose it again. I guess I am just not unhappy enough to try again. Has anyone been in the same boat?

Is being on the bench right now really that bad? Some are saying enjoy it others are saying to panic.

I’m a 23 year old consultant. I’ve always had a big interest in the automotive industry. I am thinking about trying to get some weekend shifts at a auto shop to learn how to do some of the basic things. Has anyone done something like this before? Is this even feasible? Honestly just trying to have a way to learn about cars as much as possible while working on some. Maybe it’s stupid but wanted to at least get some opinions on it. Thanks.
