I am an intern and have been since June ‘19 and was offered an AAE position. The salary was prefaced as “nonnegotiable”, but I know the outgoing AAE made 1.4x what i was offered... any thoughts?
It sucks when you work so hard but the bitch working with you as a “team” has better rapport with the manager and takes all the visibility with her entitled position on the project.
Any fish with experience moving to an internal, non-consulting role with their firm and have an opinion on making the move now? Would be promotion (which I am unlikely to get in my area of the org due to freezes) but very aware of the old adage “if it’s not billable, it’s killable.” No layoffs yet and no pressure for me to move out of consulting, but this may be an option to level up and maybe have a better exit in 18 months. Thoughts?

Looking for some advice from fellow fishes here. How important do you all think it is to have a second baby ? We have a 2 year old now and we are trying for our 2nd. We have been trying for over a year now and started fertility treatment recently. I am not looking forward to IUI, IVF etc especially since we don’t have any much help and my husband and I both have full time jobs. Is it a deal breaker for our kid not to have a sibling ? Is it going to be worth the pain to go through fertility?
