Would it be disastrous for my career if I quit the new job from hell after only a month? I agreed to work here because I needed the money after a mass layoff at my company left me unemployed, but my new job is the worst experience of my life. They force me to use Hubstaff to monitor everything I do at all times. I'm not allowed to take breaks or they will be deducted from my paycheck. I have to file three separate detailed reports of everything I do every day, and more. It's killing me.

I’m so bad at writing the background/ facts section for briefs… it always gets heavily edited and no one is giving me constructive feedback other than “advocate more”. Career Sabbatical?

Can anyone who has taken a career sabbatical to travel/explore other interests share their experience with both leaving their jobs and returning to the legal field?
I really want to live in Asia for a year at least before I have to settle down and start a family. I’m not getting younger but don’t want to be reckless with my career.
