At this point in my life, no. But when I was in my 20s before I had my son and my dog, I would have been all for it.

Totally understandable! Timing and life stage make such a big difference when it comes to live abroad for any period of time.
Hi! Just curious which company? I would absolutely do this. Grew up in Western Europe, currently living in Florida.
Rising Star
The program mainly offers rotations to the UK. not much continental Europe, though I can’t share the company name. And Florida is a great place to live!
Depending on age and family status - absolutely worth the experience in so many ways.

Agreed. Definitely harder to take advantage once have kids.
I would've loved to have done this before I had kids. Even when they were younger, I probably would have tried to make it work because I think it would've been such a good experience for us all. Now that they're both school-aged, it's all but impossible now.

Totally! I had a coworker who moved to the UK with school-aged kids—they ended up enrolling in an international school. He’s on a longer rotation, so it made sense for them to make the move work as a family.

Love the energy! 😂 It’s such a rare and valuable opportunity for sure!
Yes absolutely! I would love the opportunity to do this. I have kids too but I think it would also be amazing for them.
Rising Star
Agreed. I've seen colleagues with kids took advantage of opportunities like this in the past and it worked just fine for them.
