People of the Airport
Anyone actually travel recently? I’m going from Ohio to Florida in July and don’t know what to expect.
Reminded of this from a few years ago on one of my trips .. why use the bag handle when you can use your headphones
Predictions are one major US airline folds out of all this. Who’s it going to be? (My money’s on United.)
I just got a new credit card. It came with a Priority Pass membership. I always travel economy, I hardly ever get lounge access. I got excited, until I remembered I can’t travel and lounges are closed anyways. :(
All the planes, just sitting there... the United cargo hub is one of the pickup spots for Crowdsource Rescue a no contact food delivery for elderly, high risk and homebound ... so I did a drive around the airport on my last round of volunteering coZ it was so weirdly empty
Not quite an airport sighting, but close enough in there times https://skift.com/2020/05/02/a-russian-airline-is-delivering-its-meals-to-grounded-travelers-nostalgic-for-in-flight-food/
Hopefully, this SNL skit will brighten y’all’s days a bit and let you reminisce on the days of standing in line for five hours to board. Let me know your favorite part. Stay safe! https://youtu.be/DptGBVPnvKE
End of month I was planning on flying to Seattle to find a place to live for a new job relocation. Likely won’t be onsite until may/June, but wondering what people think odds of airport shutdown are?
What you think will be a long term impact on travel industry in general and airline industry in particular from covid19?
Curious about COVID impacts.. How many flights are getting canceled? What is the estimated risk for flying?
Taking a bunch of flights in the next few weeks, work doesn’t stop and I don’t mind it. Any precautions I should be taking? We are all going to get it, right?
