Last week traveling, I experienced two acts of kindness/awareness. 1) A pilot helped a mom traveling with kids carry the children's seats onto the flight. 2) Another pilot took the time to explain the type of weather and turbulence we could face. He did this multiple times until he got to the last row. You could hear people loving this (cropped his face for privacy purposes).

United pilot's acts of kindness/awareness, brought a smile to me and others and reinforced kindness is always around.

Can I just vent on how annoyed I am with the increase in “priority boarding” of people that are able bodied? I am happy to let them on first. But I think they should get off last. So many times they are limping or in a wheelchair boarding. And then when we land that are the first to jump up and scurry off. Just not ethical.
