I started a new job mid last month, but KPMG just got back to me nearly two months after an initial phone interview.

My current job is as a Senior Business Analyst at a boutique firm specializing in FinTech. A little boring if I’m being honest, but salary is 100k.

According to Glassdoor, the salary for this position at KPMG would be ~115k. Senior Associate for Cloud.

How terrible would I be if I ended up leaving my current job after two months? Can anyone actually stomach this?

Anybody filed for unemployment with reason- terminated for performance. What was the procedure like? Do they interview you? I could have easily provided reason as laid off, but, didn’t want to give false info as the reason in my termination was performance, according to my termination letter. Questions that could be asked are: why were you terminated, were you given warning, when were you given warning , how long have you been performing this job, have you don’t this kind of job before.

I’m currently interviewing between two companies. should I tell either company I’m progressing through interviews? Or should I wait if/when I get offer letters?

To what extent have you lied or exaggerated in a job interview?

Hi all, does anyone know how much it takes to hear back from cap invent Frog italy after interviews? I had three steps by the 1st of december, the last one the 15th, but still any feedback.

What’s the purpose of the final interview with members on the team?

I just had an interview for a consultant role (I’m currently an associate) which was the very last interview of 6 total. The interactions were positive with all other 5 interviewers. This one asked towards the end of the interview “what would you say if the team really likes you and extends an offer for the associate level?” I didn’t say anything to that and I just thanked him for the transparency and for putting that out there. His argument is the role would require data analytics which I don’t

Time scheduled this week to review formal offer, got canceled due to PPMD client meeting and has not been rescheduled yet

Recruiter asked to connect quickly twice and has ghosted me when I responded with availability both times

Need some advice please. I have been offered a good salary and role at a t2 firm. I am also quite deep into the process at another t2 firm.

Currently making $250-300k in an IC tech job. I have thought about trying again for MBB (stopped the interview after I got this job) to grow faster for more supervisory or strategically oriented tech jobs but the pay cut, much worse wlb, and worse tech are hard to swallow. Does it even make sense to go to MBB with that goal? Especially when I could just focus harder on growing where I am?

Have been doing mostly tech consulting and process optimization work. I am trying to pivot into strategy consulting and need to bolster my candidacy somehow to be considered for interviews. What gaps do you think exist between the two roles and how do I best plug those gaps? I’d like to be very intentional in what I focus on learning as spare time is not an abundant resource. Appreciate any and all advice/feedback.

What are the differences between a regular case interview and a verbal case interview?? Are they structured the same??

Bummed out that I got an interview at a big 4 through HireVue virtual interviews an i sat ther with a message “you are waiting for the interviewer” for 10 minutes then she calls me and asks if I was in the call because she was waiting for me. She seemed a little ina rush the whole call. At least I thought maybe she was busy and was late so she used it as an excuse. But I didn’t get a follow up interview now and wondering if it was a tech issue or something with how the interview was set up

Had a 3rd round interview with a Principal. Behavioral went great and she seemed to be really impressed. Case study - the start/mid was great. Liked my structure/communication/framework. Math was okay - minor mistakes since I was nervous (math is my strong suit). I knew I messed up, she corrected me, and so I had a domino effect of a bad conclusion.

She did reply to my thank you note, if that means anything. Do you think I will get to 4th round?

Good questions to ask a PPMD in an interview?

Is hr supposed to be nice and compliment your cv during interviews just because it’s their job to make you feel at ease? Or can I take what they say as an actual compliment?
