I have an offer to do some consulting for a company based out of the UK (I am in the US). The job would not go through a consulting company but would be directly with the company. I have not done any consulting before so I am not sure how it works, what I would need to set up (they mentioned that I would start a LLC and bill them directly, no idea how to do that), how to determine the tax implications of this, or what hourly rate I would expect. Wondering what people think about my situation. I’ve been offered a role with a company. The job description didn’t mention college degree as a requirement. On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). It’s a 4 year degree and under this I have my High School equivalent with the years I attended there. The education wasn’t mentioned in the interviews. Continued below.

1)If I show as 4.5 years exp in manual testing -how much I can expect?
2)2 years manual and 2 years automation.

I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. I joined bosch recently in coimbatore location. But most of my teammates and manager are from bangalore.
Now manager is asking me to relocate to Blore for few months to get trained from teammates.
Also he is saying he can't consider this as a business trip and hence cannot provide accommodation
