Anyone considered moving to an internally facing role? Or know of someone who’s made the switch and willing to discuss ?

Hi! I’m an assurance senior w/ a few engagements under my belt. Interested in moving into industry. Open to a lot of things - internal audit, forensic accounting, real estate or fixed asset accounting, or generally any kind of senior accountant role for an interesting company. I’m in the Philadelphia area - any company reccs?

Also, what should I say my salary expectation is? Already making in the range of $85-88k.

Reorgs are just a part of the corporate world. If you haven’t been a part of one in your career yet, then you most likely haven’t been in the corporate workforce for very long. If you have been a part of a reorg, however, how do you personally approach it? There are many factors at play, but in general do you try to establish relationships with the individuals you know will be key contributors and/or decision makers going forward? Or do you lay low and let what ever happens be/hope for the best?

I worked 2m for startup company and absconded due to bitter experience from Jun'21 - July'21 , later immediately joined to another company Aug'21 to present(under notice period). Now I got offer with comcast and will moving on Jan'23. I'm bit worried because I don't have releiving letter for those 2m but all other records are clear with me(includes to company I'm currently serving notice period). I yet to reveal this 2m to my Hr. Should I tell and leave as such, Kindly pour your advice.

I make $100K with 12% bonus and was offered a role $130k with 15-20% bonus. 4YOE in provider industry.

I am in a comfortable spot with a good team but the work is dull, new role would be consulting with more work & travel
