Hey all, I am adjuster at Liberty Mutual and my bases salary is 47k and I am consistently working 50 hrs a week, I’m paid hourly so I do receive OT. But am seeking a higher based salary and a company that doesn’t have such a high turn over for reps due to claims volume. Does anyone have experience with other companies?

Relocating to Chicago and trying to determine if I should switch to United or American for frequent flying.Conflicting info online depending on criteria. I am most interested in points and upgrades.

Anyone have insight on the average salary/comp structure for commercial litigation associate in Austin TX? Or perhaps other areas of Texas?

Have you ever stopped pursuing a job at a company because of your experience with the recruiter? My friend recently met with a recruiter who tried to convince her to apply for a Manager position instead of a Sr. Manager position and “get promoted into the Sr. Manager position in one year”. It takes at least a year and a half to get promoted, the recruiter lied to her! This is a red flag to me and I am thinking of advising my friend to go after the role at a different company.

Does anyone know about recruitment at NVIDIA? Contacted a recruiter there but so far no response.

In your experience, which companies have provided the strongest enterprise sales training and methodology?

I had my PHR back in early 2000, then made a career change to a paramedic (I know, right). I called SHRM and they said I'm eligible to test again even though I only currently have 1.5 yrs of HR.

I purchased the online study guide and it seems that HR has gone in a completely different direction - more operations related than employee relations etc.

Did anyone find this online training to be helpful? I test in July, so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Since I graduated from CSUN, I’ve been trying to find a job. It was hard finding a entry job software engineering job that requires few years of experience. As a deaf person, many obstacles in my path that I fought so hard to get past them. For instance, they tried to call my videophone, which has an American Sign Language interpreter to pass messages through a webcam and phone call, and thought it was not me. I maybe lose a lot of chances. I wish everything was more easier.

How to get over the fear of saying something during the meeting especially for those who don’t speak English fluently? 😢
