Bain & Company Is anyone else getting their application to Bain & Company pushed backed?
As of yesterday, even though I applied in May, and that while they liked my application, they will not be considering me till early 2023.
This is the second time they pushed back their consideration... 😞
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Other side of that coin is that you’re becoming a relationship manager for their current customers. They really do need to feel you out, make sure you’re a cultural fit and a good fit for the portfolio of customers you’re going to manage. Blow their socks off and start pushing them to learn more about the accounts you will manage and expectations for growing your portfolio.
I agree, but 4/5 rounds? I have worked in global companies and they hired me after 3 interviews so 4/5 becomes truly exhausting. Especially when he tells me on the phone I know your level is higher, but we can pay 55k as we want everyone to grow from the bottom. Also, they don’t know if the position will open as they will make a decision only around February. So why you are calling and interviewing me? If can not evaluate me properly and only try to reach your targets ahead? I appreciate the transparency, but that's weird...
it’s a technique by firms, more rounds you clear more invested you are in the process and with 5 rounds firm assures culture and competency fit while you also will be less likely to negotiate an offer or withdraw and you also get a sense of achievement.
Really annoying and just a waste of time and will to want the role…
