Anyone have insights about working at Humana (healthcare) in an internal strategy role? People seem really sharp and the comp/benefits are well above consulting standards. Would love to hear any anecd…
To all my SDRs/AEs/AMs/BDRs that are out there, I’m running an experiment that I’ve never seen before: Have you ever worked together with a teammate to close your company’s deals? I’m talking start to finish of sales process, from cold call to closed booking. I’m curious to know if folks always tackle calls by themselves, particularly intro calls, and beyond. Obviously there has to be a handoff at some point, but where is that inflection point? Trust is probably THE most important rapport
Anyone prepping for the SHRM-CP test? I’m taking a prep course this fall and would love tips or to know if there are any study groups out there!
Does anyone else check in with their employees within 45 days of their hire? If not, how are you guys going about employee experience and engagement/onboarding?

Hello please can I find Victoria’s boot camp I keep hearing about this being great to study for shrm exam but I can’t find it anywhere thank you
Anyone know of any HR opportunities focused on employee relations, performance management and/or change management? It’s time for a change, but grateful for any help/recommendations on this journey.
Im a BDR at a large medtech vendor that expanded into SaaS complimenting our existing smart devices at hospitals. Sales cycles are long in this industry (min 12mo), but seems our value-add platform is so new to market that it’s taking longer (16-24+mo). I’ve been here for over 6mo and support 3 AE’s with zero pipeline and wins, despite meeting my own metrics to get meetings. Is this complex environment usual for enterprise software sales? Not sure if I’m hurting my new sales career by staying.
What's the typical sales commission on TCV and Earned Revenue for software services in Tier1 System Integrators you guys comes across?
What people data do you regularly report on? How are you providing insights to leaders with it?
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
Interviewing with Deloitte. Would love some insight into the organization… recommended or runnnnn?
Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
Good morning, I work for Solugenix placing top notch candidates at companies throughout the US. I just started at Solugenix so anyone who needs any assistance either finding a job or looking for candidates please let me know. Thanks and have a great day.
25M with 1.5 YOE, OTE $110-120k with what seems to be a large decision at the moment. Would you rather live in a city that you prefer to be at long-term with real estate, serious relationships, better WLB activities in mind or stay in current territory that would likely be better off from a career stand point with current outside sales role? There is opportunity for an internal relocation to my desired location within the next year. Any thoughts/advice is welcome that I may not be considering!
For those in smaller high growth tech companies, where do you turn for resources on org development, engagement, trends, etc.? I’m moving from a large tech org to a a 150 person company. SHRM does not seem relevant at all. Podcasts, social media followings, etc?
Hello! I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? If so, how valuable was it from a learning perspective? Do you feel it significantly contributed to your knowledge in either area? Thank you!
Ladies & Gentlemen, with one month left in Q2, some will fall short of our numbers. Others will hit them. I can’t speak for all of us here, however, I can speak for myself. That being said, I will NOT be one that comes up short of my number. Now, this leads me to you all, to present a question. If you have to prospect, if you’re looking for new business, is it worth $1500 to put 95% of your prospecting process on autopilot? If so, let’s chat.
Best software sales executive in the world 🤣
Does Big4 hire ACCA individuals from international countries (they will not need visa sponsorship and would be legally authorized to work in USA).
Fam— would anyone be interested in a Glassdoor for black people? i.e anonymized reviews of companies from POCs. I think it would be massively helpful in gauging the diversity and inclusivity of a company outside polished recruitment processes and would publicly hold companies accountable. Thoughts?
Any fishes in DCA Terminal B with Admirals access willing to guest in my sister whilst I take in my niece HMU!
Question: What is the very first memory you have of the police or personally interacting with the police? I’ll go first. My first memory of the police was of having my rights violated and being denied medical care after a traumatic brain injury. I was 12. My husband’s was the police putting a gun in his mom’s face. Details in first comment.
Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks
Your thoughts on Inclusion champion?
How would one calculate child support when there is an adoption stipend being received? I have an attorney arguing it should be included as income for calculating support and I have another attorney on the other side saying it should be excluded entirely as it’s a benefit for the children. The stipend is a monthly payment received as a result of an adoption that occurred when the parties were still together. I can’t find relevant case law or statutes on point. This is a KY issue.
What is everyone’s top 1 or 2 favorite books on personal finance? I’m always looking for a new one to bring into the fold of what I’m doing

Does Amex platinum reimburse for CLEAR?
I have some friends over at McKinsey and they were saying I should apply as an experienced hire. I’m currently living in a smaller cheaper city and pretty comfortable with my family here. Friends at McKinsey say they think I would have to relocate. Any truth to that? I know some BCGers that are a part of the Bay Area office but live in PHX so I was just curious...
Any advice for how to maintain your physical health when you’re working an absurd amount of hours? *help*
Taking the Beginner AWS Cloud Practitioner certification exam this weekend. Went through the standard course offered by AWS, I think I have a good understanding. Is there anything else I need to prepare? Is this exam anything crazy?
Does anyone have any “I made it” items they would get themselves to celebrate a big milestone or promotion?
