Needing advice: My company has gone through an Acquisition, and the parent company's HR is looking to add to the team and has voiced that I'd be the obvious candidate for the job. Has anyone had experience working locally, supporting a local team directly, and then moving to a role where you still work locally, but support the larger organization as a whole? I am having a very hard time seeing how that dynamic shift would work, and management has been less than helpful when I ask.
