Company is raffling a pack of beer and a gift card to a sports bar for International Beer Day. Thoughts as an HR professional? Yay or nay?
I've done more traveling outside of the US than in. I'd like to go on extended weekend getaways this year to see more of this country - where are some great, not overly touristy places I should go?
How does the holiday weekend impact your quota? Still the same? It's still the same for me, which I feel is unfair.
Good morning, I work for Solugenix placing top notch candidates at companies throughout the US. I just started at Solugenix so anyone who needs any assistance either finding a job or looking for candidates please let me know. Thanks and have a great day.
I’m studying for the SHRM-CP with the Mometrix (study guides, online course, and flash cards), however I’m super overwhelmed with all of the information. What are some best practices to ensure I grasp all of the concept ? Any advice would be much appreciated!!!
Anyone have tips on building a revenue model for a streaming company with both annual and monthly memberships? I'm having trouble projecting new users on a per month basis. Would you just do YoY growth on a monthly basis since there may be some seasonality? How would you mechanically build out the annual part, deferring revenue and accounting fo churn, etc.
I’m mid-level in my HR career at my current company and an upcoming Master’s graduate. Studying for my SHRM-CP too. How did you make the transition to that next level? What skills do you need, or is it really just based on YOE (I am the youngest compared to my teammates, many who have 10+ YOE)? I feel like career pathing is not very clear at my company. Each time I ask for guidance on this from my manager, I get told they’ll look into it.... would love some external mentorship and thoughts 🙏🏼
What's the harshest thing your Buyer has ever said to you? Ex: Buyer emailed my colleague "instead of sharing photos of our empty shelves why don't you spend your time getting us more product"
Not eating carbs = laughably easy path to a six pack. I've lost 10 lbs in 14 days eating bun-less bacon cheeseburgers
What is everyone's Fishbowl love score on here? I'm at 40, no idea what it means and I'm curious!
Has trade with China really hurt the US?
Do managers like it when you are aggressively trying to join their team from another team because you are interested in the job?
"Don't let it take you all night." Thanks for that.

Have a side project that is doing well, looking to raise some money. How much should I give for seed funding?
I was an MBA intern and FT hire at Deloitte. Been here 3 years, been at M for the last year. I have seen others leave at this point in their careers and go direct to SM/director roles in industry, but as I start applying for jobs and have convos with recruiters, I have had more than one say that I’m light on YOE and that for that reason alone I am either not considered for a SM role or unlikely to have my salary expectations met. How can I combat/preempt this? Others clearly have.
My firm is evaluating CM programs/models to adopt as standard, getting some folks trained and certified and creating an ongoing internal training model. I’ve always perceived that Prosci is the gold standard. What other options should we be considering? Our focus is on the healthcare provider space. Thank you!
Zoom tops for women? I’m going to another firm soon and will have to appear on camera more often. I don’t have enough blouses. Any great suggestions of where to shop (bonus for online)? I really don’t feel the need to spend a lot, but want to have some appropriate shirts ready to go.
My grandmother passed away recently, and I thought I would be very sad and cry, but I am not and I wonder if there’s something wrong with me. I was very sad and cried when she fell ill three years ago, but when she passed away I don’t think what I felt was sadness, more like emptiness... Is this normal? I’ve never had someone close to me pass away and I feel terrible because I am not crying.

An H1B transfer has been applied for me with LCA SOC code 15-1121 Computer Systems Analysts. Has anyone here had success with H1B with this SOC code? Can you please share experience?
From talking to students at multiple M7 schools, it seems like all of the BB/MBB/FAANG companies recruit at most if not all of the schools . So if you're planning on recruiting for one of these, is there really a major difference in career opportunities between each school? Asking because it seems like some schools are specifically known for finance vs consulting vs tech, but if the companies are all recruiting at all these schools, the differences don't seem as pronounced to me.
I'm not one to advocate people being fired, but how the fuck are these refs still employed??
Our consulting practice is hiring from experienced associate to director (no SMs in consulting) levels. DM if you are interested.
I have interviews with LivePerson and Salesforce this week. Any past or current employees with advice?
So this is a first. Have any of you had a male client add you on social media that is not LinkedIn after having a meeting? The project is still ongoing. Idk it seems a bit odd or am I overthinking it?
