Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Tell your wife to shove it. Books are amazing and should never go in storage!!!! They should be around the house so they are easily accessible and available for reading!. Tell her they can’t go into storage until you both finish reading them!!!!!!
Tell her to incorporate the books into the art. Learn to share experiences.
Agree with FA1! Negotiate yourself a library room in the house and keep ALL your books out! If my spouse told me to pack some of my books away, I would be packing their stuff and throwing it out the door 😂
maybe out with the old to make more room for the new? Any books you haven’t touched in 10+years or hold no sentimental value? I love books as well, but they do form a lot of clutter. It may be killing to birds with one stone if you’re willing to part with some.
Put up a new bookshelf or standalone shelves high up on the wall and turn your collection into a decoration! Also think about whether there’s any books you want to donate to the less fortunate
Came here to say it FA1 beat me to it. Keep your books out FFS
