I wouldn't doubt that people are doing this, but I don't see the point of it. If I go somewhere to enjoy myself I don't want to be working. I just find it easier to work when I'm supposed to work, and I wouldn't enjoy playing games with it. It's no wonder people who work remotely are often suspected of being total slackers.
