Base of an S2 in Strategy (M&A Services) in NYC? Non-MBA. Wondering about all firms.

Is it worth it to get a professional certification like SHRM/PHR? Not many of my colleagues have one and it’s not a requirement for my role, but I’m curious if it’s worth it in the long run

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

Is the CPA designation worth it? For me it would take me 1 year of PREP courses and 2 years of PEP until i can write the CFE. And I am 27 years old right now. Also wondering if it would be crazy to pursue the CPA while learning how to code to be a developer as well?

I’m moving out of the city that I’ve been in for the past 2 years. I have the option to move into a HCOL city with my friends or live at home with my parents in the suburbs. I know I’ll have way more fun & be happier with my friends in the city, but I’m going back to get my MBA in the fall of 2023 (already accepted) & can save >$40k if I live at home for a year and can use that for school. I’m 23 with no debt and $100k TC. Would love to hear some thoughts - is the extra $40k worth it?

For those who pursued MBA or MHA several years after practice, how did you use your degree?

Do one-year MBA programs at Northwestern, Cornell or Duke give full-ride?
I went to Top15 UG. Got full ride from Ross and Haas. $$$ from Booth and CBS.
I am planning on staying in strategy consulting, so I prefer $$$ with one year MBA.
Should I wait to get my M promo and reapply to one year MBA if they offer $$$$ like 2 year programs?

Currently on H1B. If I go back to school Fulltime MBA which takes 2 years, will H1B visa be placed on hold or will it expire? I have two years left

If I obtain certification in Salesforce SDR on Coursera, would it be easier to land an AE role in tech with zero experience?
Would I have to start at SDR first?
Any certifications out there to expedite the process?

My ideal industries are cybersecurity, cloud, and foodtech.

Im having 8.7 YOE now, Joined wipro 4 months back with 26.5+1lac JB. Skills business analytics. My current project does not follow agile processes at all, very relaxed client. However what im worried is after 2 years would interviewers expect me to have handled a project all alone and acted as a product owner. Thats what i sense once i have 10 YOE, if i switch it would be 6th company, (2 years break due to MBA ofcourse)

I recently went through trainer certification and I received some really confusing feedback. During certification we were told that in order to meet intent we should stick to the leader guide notes and we will be fine. I did this to a T and it was noted that I did, however the feedback that I received was that I should have created another unspecified unscheduled activity and had my learners visit an info page that was not referenced in the learning module or the leader guide notes. I’m lost.

Any advice: Looking to enter international trade/tourism. I have a BA in History/Latin American Studies. I speak fluent Spanish.
