Before investing my money I just want to ask and get your expertise opinion on Upgrad courses.
How much beneficial is it?
Specially the course I am looking for is masters in Data Science from IIT bangalore and LJMU with Nasscom certification. Which is a 18 months course but after seeing the fees i am now bit confused should I go for it or not?
How is there placement section?
Is it safe to proceed with this?
Is the certificate valueable for job purpose?

Taking the Beginner AWS Cloud Practitioner certification exam this weekend. Went through the standard course offered by AWS, I think I have a good understanding.

Is there anything else I need to prepare? Is this exam anything crazy?

About to start studying for the CFE. On the pre assessment I had passing scores (greater than 75%) for all the sections besides law (72). Is the pre assessment a good representation of knowledge for the actual exam? And do I need to study as much as the ACFE guides recommend?

I’m looking at the Bank Of America Market Financial Center Manager role. Trying to figure out the salary range for this role and online research is giving me a wide range for this role. I have my MBA (non-Target school) with 3+ years in management (2 plus years in management in the banking/finance industry). What salary range should I be expecting? Thank you in advance.

Currently looking for a full time position in financial planning or wealth management industry. I will graduate this spring and currently have a 3.7 gpa with a major in financ (corporate finance focus) and a minor financial planning and wealth management (CFP registered program.) Law schools in Toronto - I am currently working as a Senior Auditor at EY & finished my CPA modules in less than 12 months & successfully passed CFE, September 2021 (Fasttrack) while working full time. I am really interested in getting into a top law school here in Toronto but unfortunately I had a low CGPA (3.15) from undergrad due to some unfortunate incident, mostly impacted my grades. Hi All! I need some quick advice. Is it better to go for a MBA (over 17k in debt) or a ProSic certification? My company would cover the cert, but they don’t offer any tuition reimbursement, unfortunately… I want to be at the Director level in 5years, but I’ve heard I need a graduate degree to even be considered… I’ve considered leaving my current company just for better benefits/pay.

Semi-retired grandfather looking for position as part-time HR assistant. Went back to school during COVID, and I’m ready to contribute.

During interview I was speaking to the hiring manager. Felt interview was going well. He seemed impressed by my answers, excited by my skills, and even gave me a tour of the office. At the end, he asked about my home life. When I spoke of my 3 young kiddos, the manager got a little taken back and replied Oh you have children? I said yes ages 3, 5, and 7. He then proceeded to ask me about daycare arrangements and if I can be reliable. Red flag as his demeanor changed and made me feel unworthy.

I’m a third year associate working in civil litigation. I DREAD hearings of all kinds except CMCs and I’m not sure if my dread is from lack of experience and stage fright or if I’ll eventually get over it. I hear “trial lawyers” enjoy being in the courtroom, but it’s literally my least favorite aspect of the job. Anyone else feel this way early in their career? Is this normal? I love my firm and see it working out long term unless I decide I’m better suited for transactional work!
