After being in consulting would you say it gives you good skills/experience to start your own business/startup one day? My current plan is to do consulting then startup.

Hello Fishes, I'm planning to join Deloitte india in the second week of November, I have got a designation of "Manager". I'm from a technical background (SF DevOps).

I need advice.
I work at an manufacturing company as a technician. My job title is a technician but they use me as an engineer as-well. There are three techs overall in the company. My boss who hired me understands what my degree is in so he uses me to design parts and write reports. The plant manager doesn’t know my skills so anytime I’m in the office working he calls me to the floor to do something the other techs can do. Should I have a talk with the boss about it? Looking for some advice. Second year associate at firm of 25ish attorneys in the Midwest. Looking to make a move and have an attractive offer from a small firm of 6 attorneys. I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

COVID 19 crisis should make all states compact for licensing. Precious time was lost while nurses who wanted to work waited for states to pass emergency laws.

I’m my partners only associate and I went on parental leave two weeks ago. I feel horrible for leaving him to handle our cases alone, but am trying to focus on my wife and new baby. That being said, should I still offer to handle minor matters that come in to ease the workload off my boss? He’s been super cool during my entire leave, so I don’t feel pressured to one bit.
