I've been working as a freelancer for the last 1yr as a UI/UX designer. Now I'm thinking of switching back to a full time job in the same field. Usually companies ask what's your current and expected CTC. In this situation, what would be the best response? Shall I give them my last invoice that I got paid or tell them it's variable?
Also, what should be the expected CTC with 4 YOE in Product design or UI/UX role?

Hi! Looking for a fully remote role in fintech or a larger/global established organization after working in government for 12 years. Over 10 years as an HRBP/Sr and 2 years in a leadership role. I'm currently a recruiter, with an HR background looking to make a slight career pivot. As an introvert, the recruitment aspect has been draining however, I do enjoy the non-phone screen aspects of it. I enjoy consulting with managers and looking at comp, internal equity and providing data to my hiring managers. I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? Should I apply again in new year or don’t bother ?

Mine says "Once Consultant presents a resume, Client is precluded from claiming previous knowledge of this candidate unless it notifies Consultant of its previous knowledge within 3 business days of Consultant’s referral. “Previous Knowledge” means that the Client can demonstrate that they have had contact with and received the resume of the referred candidate."
