Considering thr current market, with what kind of confidence were you able to take a break
Considering the different colleagues we get to work with, there are always 90percent who do bare minimum at work and MANAGE work without doing, that is the skill that would have helped
I don't know you but I wanted to tell you that the Hiring Process is changed now due to Ats and also Involvement of some Hiring Managers right from Round One after Corona Virus Pandemic and because of this there is a Significant Reduction in Recruiter's Calls.
Your work experience is excellent but it is seen that other factors are playing a important role in this Changed Hiring Process
And try to keep patience as much as you can you have kept it but I think it takes some time for the job market to gain momentum and the most concerning part is lack of Frequent Recruiter's Calls so I think there might be days,weeks where no Recruiter's Call might come your way and I hope not months
Try to do minor Truthful Edits to your Resume and change Resume File Name according to different job description and try to check your Resume as per Workday Ats Scanner as most of the Career Sites are managed by or outsourced to Workday only and by doing this I am not saying that your application will not get rejected but this is atleast you can do from your side.
You have kept patience but although the job market started showing revival signs in 2026 till now because of Rise in Walk-In Interviews one of the effective strategies but I think this strategy need to be combined with frequent Recruiter's Calls continuously on lower side to balance Ats.
And don't worry about 1 year because this is a Unsual Situation of Changed Hiring Process and no one can do anything in it other than continuously changing the strategies and to deal with exhaustion as this Changed Hiring Process is very exhausting.
And try to do some Upskilling or Certifications as it will come handy as and when Recruiter's get specific about your current job situation and if some Recruiter's get Specific then you might tell them that previous year the job market was Drastically Bad.
Try to improve your Naukri and LinkedIn as Visibility has turned out to be one of the important factors in this Changed Hiring Process
Also try to take follow up with the Recruiter if the call not sounds like a rejection and if it is not favourable then ask them about Other Recruiter's Contact Numbers and this is valid if some Recruiter's are not willing to come back to the effective strategy of Frequent Recruiter's Calls then it is better that they give other Recruiter's Contact Numbers and the concerned person will call them themselves.
I mean when some Recruiter's have already seen the Drastically Bad job market last year and still not willing to come back to another Effective Strategy of Frequent Recruiter's Calls then how will be the further revival of job market will happen which is currently seen through Rise in Walk-In Interviews in 2026.
I understand that Recruiter's might be busy and some are doing those Recruiter Calls but for some I think for Further Revival of job market the Significant Reduction in Recruiter's Calls gain some momentum to support the already Effective Strategy in use Rise in Walk-In Interviews and then I think the combination of two effective strategy will balance Ats.
I don't know you but check your Ats Resume Score
Try these two things one is Trial and Error like See those Recruiter's who are viewing your Naukri Profile and search them on LinkedIn and you might get a Recruiter Call because Visibility is one of the important factors in this Changed Hiring Process another is if you have seen a Recruiter or a Hiring Manager then try to follow them because in this Changed Hiring Process some of the Recruiter and Hiring Managers mostly post a job or a potential Walk-In interviews on there LinkedIn Profiles.
For your Peace of Mind don't treat some phrases or wordings as Rejections as they are not like Higher Candidacy Pool, Requirements Change,Status Changes so we decided to withdraw your candidature for this job position, Position Closed/Filled, Achievements/Qualifications Impressive but we decided to move forward with other candidates, Position on Hold, Where Hr gives two responses like Assessment or Round 1 not passed and position on hold and Rejection mails coming on Sunday's.
Also one phase or wording which not sound like rejection is We have decided not to fill the position at this time
