Someone remind me please, if I book a flight through Chase portal, my elite status will kick in vs. if I book a hotel through the portal I won’t get the points, correct?
Been recently using the Hilton honors app to book hotels for work. Thinking about using the Chase portal with my CSR instead. Thoughts or input on this?
CSR now gives 10x for booking through the portal for hotels, but I’ve heard we won’t get Bonvoy points if we book through portal because it’s booked through 3rd party? Is that true? What about nights towards status?
Anyone looking to offload 40,000 bonvoy points?
Looking to vacation next summer in Greece and Italy with the fam. When you all book on bonvoy points do you reserve the room just for yourself or do put the actual number of people? When I search for just 2 people staying the room, there is availability to use bonvoy points. When I search for 3 people(6y/o kid) nothing is available. The same in Athens, Rome & Naples.
Downtown Philly: Element vs Aloft vs Autograph Notary vs Westin vs other higher end Marriott properties in the downtown area for about 40k Bonvoy points? And…Element vs Autograph collection in general? Not real familiar with these sub brands.
Booked a week long stay with Bonvoy points over 2 weeks ago and the points still haven’t been deducted. Has it happened to anyone?
Have got 400K Marriott Bonvoy points carried over since Feb 2019, when do they expire? If I can’t use them by end of year (if that is when they expire), can I transfer them or use them in any other way?
I have a boneheaded question I’m pretty sure I know the answer to. My partner can’t use my Hilton Honors account for an upcoming stay he is going to book, right? He doesn’t need my discount or anything - was just hoping that he could get my diamond benefits.
I have 315k Marriott Bonvoy points and a couple of free nights in addition. What is the best bang for my buck in terms of locations / experiences I could get? I am super flexible on timing and location, just want the best experience. Any thoughts?

Would a silver elite status on Marriott Bonvoy give one privileges to request a 5pm checkout ? I used to be able to do that with spg platinum.
Can anyone from BCG confirm this ridiculousness that you’re all receiving free Bonvoy points now?! Boston Consulting Group
Looking for suggestions on weekend trips with a small dog. Bonus if I can use bonvoy points for hotels 🙂

FYI Green Corporate Amex Cards include a free silver level membership with Hilton Honors.
Currently working on plan C of a honeymoon as we don’t expect to be able to go Europe in June/July as hoped. Plan A and B were variations of Italy (relax) and Spain (mountain biking). Hoping to use bonvoy points. Any US centered suggestions? Maybe refocusing on golf/warmth/spa/food now.
Is anyone looking to sell some bonvoy points?
Any of you book a nice vacation a few months out? I have lots of Bonvoy points and trying to book some international properties (Bali etc) while rates are low.. any ideas for good deals still
How do I get cash for bonvoy points?
Still hoping to purchase Hilton Honors points! Ideally looking for 150k, but fewer will help as well. Hmu if you have some to sell!
My fellow road warrior 🐠, I have 110K Hilton points and want to open Hilton honors card ($95 annual fee) that will get me to 250K points (once I spend $2K in first 3 months). Already have 6-7 credit cards and no outstanding balances. Doing it to book hotel travel with family later this year. Is it worth it to pay $100/year? What will 250K get me? TIA
I was a loyal Amex SPG cardholder that migrated to Amex Bonvoy ($450 annual fee - which is really $150 after the $300 Marriott spend credit) ... we charge all personal expenses to this card (over $75K/yr). I feel that Bonvoy Platinum Elite status and a free night per year are nice, but are there better cards that have better rewards? Our other card is Costco Visa (for Costco purchases or for places that don’t accept Amex).
Anyone selling 10k bonvoy points? I will pay $75
I need 100,000 Bonvoy points transferred. Doing 5 nights with points (5th night free). Any bidders?!?!
Need 40K Bonvoy points. DM if interested :)
Do we loose all the Marriott bonvoy points if I close my chase Marriott credit card ? Don’t see the need to pay $95 when there is no travel for the foreseeable future.
My cousins, their families, and I are all planning a quick trip to the mountains. Because of the way availability for our Airbnb worked out, we have to get a hotel the first night. All my cousins and their spouses decided to opt for a cheaper Best Western hotel while I have Bonvoy points I want to use...and also don’t want to stay in a BW. They’re upset with me bc I’m staying somewhere different....For that one night. Am I wrong to choose Marriott bc it’s more convenient for me?
Has anyone rented out a space at a Marriott hotel for an event? Aren’t you supposed to get Bonvoy points based on the amount you spend?
What do you guys get as your SPG platinum benefit every year? Suit nights are so useless they never clear...
Going to be in Madrid for the next 4 days on vacation. Any recommendations?? Used points so will be staying at the Westin Palace Madrid.
Best spg/Marriott hotels in the Caribbean?
Any suggestions on a good small business credit card? Thinking a cash back card, but already have CSR, SW and Bonvoy personal cards, so combining point currencies might also work. Not much travel spend - lots of office supplies - roughly 10k a month in spend.
First world problems, but damn, what status do I need to be assured a king size bed at Marriott? Apparently gold isn't enough...
Does IHG do a status match with either bonvoy, Hyatt or Hilton? Any contact or link I can request on
SPG Hotels in India screwing me over by charging mandatory fees and taxes for NYE dinner when I can go party at better places for half the price. #thanksbutnotthanksspg
Who else is doing expenses on an amazing Saturday? I noticed a $50 dinner charge. Damn you Sheraton. I hardly ate anything that night.
Anyone wanna grab my Marriott points? 100k points up for sale. Flat 600$ and it's yours.
Hoping a Marriott guru can help me. I’m in NC and am trying to book a room away from the hurricane for Mon-Weds of next week. I have enough fuel to run a generator for 3 days and want to have (cont)
Best areas in London to stay? Doing several day trips so a better bang for buck since not there much is ideal. Prefer Marriott or Hilton
Anyone already work out an optimal combo for a couple that each consults on earning? We aren’t super advanced so basic choice is either both go Marriott, or split and one go Hyatt and Hilton
Not even 2018 yet in Central time and SPG + UA already set all the clocks back to 0. Here’s to another year away from home...
I’ll be like $400 short of the $14k annual spend for bonvoy titanium….anybody know if it is worth calling them over at year and and asking for? Would any of you just stay somewhere a night or two to hit that?
Has anyone rented workout clothes at the Westin before? Thoughts on the quality/cleanliness?
Best SPG in Paris or surrounding area?
People that have used their SPG 50 benefit on the bed, is it worth it? Planning to buy a new bed anyway so I'm wondering if that's the right play
If I link my SPG and Marriott accounts , do Marriott nights also count towards my SPG status challenge?
End goal in PE career? Let’s say you make it to MD at UMM shop. How is comp compared to let’s say F500 C-suite? I’d imagine both to be 10 - 30M, but a cushier rise in F500. Am I wrong? Just trying to figure out this giant rush by so many colleagues to the buy-side
In Accenture’s Federal practice what is a good range for someone with five years of experience and a non MBA masters? Also what level should I come in? Anticipating an offer soon. TIA.
2 YOE doing implementations and organizational change. Just got offers to be an implementation lead and product manager. What are opportunities I can expect after each role? PM pays 20% more.
Back on the market and I’m coming to find two things: 1. Less desirable agencies are the ones who want people back on-site soon, with no wiggle room for remote work. 2. These same agencies want to pay salaries based on COL in the city where the agency is based even if you’re working/living from another market in the interim. Example: Midwest based agency paying Midwest salaries to folks living in places like NY, SF, LA. 🧐🧐🧐🧐
I’ve had a few friends die tragically in the last couple months - only one being COVID-related. I’ve been dealing with lots of grief and I’m trying out BetterHelp to talk through some stuff. Haven’t had an appointment yet, but I set my account up using my firm laptop and now I feel like that was really dumb. Am I an idiot?
Been looking at LinkedIn profiles for the acct/finance staff for a client. Many of them have B4 experience, but they all seem like they're doing dead end work. Makes me re-think exit ops. Advice?

Anyone successfully navigate burn out without leaving your current role? Feeling overwhelmed for more than a month and think it might be easier to start fresh than to dig myself out. Worried about the impression I would leave if I left now though.
Currently in core audit after 2 years and have my CPA. Looking for other jobs and wondering what potential exit ops there are? Have been looking for FPA roles but a lot require specific finance experience. Also, what kind of salary could I expect if I jump to roles like senior accountants?
Who would love to be my Kraft-Hienz referral? 😃

Have anyone taken flight lessons before?
What is the compensation range and average for a Managing Director (junior to senior MD) at Accenture in US Strategy and Consulting?
Round trip with United: delayed ~8 hours. On the way back they landed at a *different* airport, which is ~1 hour extra away from my actual airport and home. How much would you ask in points/vouchers?
DM me for a KPMG referral
Hi Tax Bowlers, I'm an experienced associate (2yrs) in a Big 4 Transfer Pricing division. I have reached a point in my career where I am considering taking up a professional certification. Several colleagues recommended taking up either ACCA or CFA, however, I see little connection between these certifications and the work that I am currently doing, and what I plan to do in the future. What would you guys suggest? Would it be detrimental to my career if I did not take up any certifications?
