Yup the young ones are cheaper
Well, agency owners are old vampires that feast on young talent.
Wow. Wait till you’re 50. Karma will catch up.
There is an agency I applied to where all the principals were middle age men (four in total) and everyone else was a beautiful woman in her twenties. It really came off as strange.
Don’t worry. Plenty of people in very senior positions who are also under 40.
Turns out it’s cheaper that way.
Yup this is the reality.
Hate to say it, but we gotta start our own thing once we hit 45.

I think it's fair to say that generally things have improved since then. But the attitude towards people unfortunate enough to be over over forty still remains...
Oh... and this could be written by the any agency owner today...
