Everyone talks about career suicide if you leave big 4 too soon, but shouldn’t overall life satisfaction be more important?

Currently in a satellite office but work mainly with partners in another, main office in another state (my office has no one that does what I do), and feel like I miss out on a lot of training, networking, etc. I like the firm so don’t want to lateral, and wouldn’t move to the main office, but am thinking of working out of the main office like one week every other month or something. Has anyone heard of an arrangement like this, or have any other suggestions?
