Overwatch? Getting messed up by widows? Best defense against that is a D.Va or Winston dive into her then pray the rest of the team can stay alive long enough for the tank to come back.
I’m with ya. There’s a big stink in the overwatch community about that. There was a tank that was able to one shot with a combo while eating bullets. It sucked. They finally nerfed the combo but there are still snipers that don’t offer a ton of counterplay besides “don’t peek”.

What about a game like dark souls where if you go for a one shot build you’re likely at 1hp and if you get blown on you die? Pretty much any area of effect damage? Is there truly no counter play in these situations? Sure, some people would sit long range with their AWPs and sniper equivalents. I would get one buddy to tag along with me and rush in with a couple of smokes and p90s and we’d tear them up.
And in the massive arena style games, I go green beret style and sneak up on their base. Plant a couple of claymores outside their spawn point. One or two grenades. Easy way to get a 6 or 7 KDA and more than pull your weight using an assault rifle or shotgun into a traditionally “unfavored” matchup
The post is just me complaining about assassin classes. I feel one shot moves can exist if you have to do something to access that ability. But assassins who can team wipe are BS.
