How can one overcome anxiety when presenting?
Hi Guys, wats up in Volvo. I am recent joiner to volvo,my manager is insisting I come to office 2 days a week and relocate to base location, he is insisting this is HR policy. Though I asked him I can work 8 days from office in a month together & rest from my home, but he is not accepting. Any advises how to mitigate this issue. Volvo

I live in New Rochelle, commute to midtown. I can be at my desk in about an hour, plus it’s on the metro north which is fairly clean and if necessary has pretty reliable cell service so you can work on the way.
I'm in New Rochelle too and like it as well. I live about a seven minute drive from the metro North but in worst case scenarios I can catch a bus to subway stations and be in the city in an hour. So it works for me.
I’m in south orange, NJ and it’s easy to commute to midtown or downtown (via Hoboken). Love living here. Midtown direct train is 30 min to penn. Progressive town of a lot of young families.
Jersey City, the village neighborhood, great commute but currently renting and priced out of buying in this neighborhood thanks to all the recent Brooklyn and Queens transplants, so looking at buying in a different area because the idea of moving to the suburbs isn't even on the table. But, some areas of JC are almost an hour commute into the city, so if you want that suburban lifestyle, Maplewood and surrounding area seem to be popular for the commute and schools. Property tax is crazy high if the schools are good though, so there's almost no difference in that cost.
I used to live in downtown JC before moving to South Orange and Loved it. We needed to move after I got pregnant with my second for space. And by then schools were a factor, which is why we left JC. But I miss it a lot.
I live in Tarrytown and love it. Train ride is clean, express right to Grand Central and I almost always get a seat and can work if I need to. I have two little kids and the town is full of people who have moved out of the city to start a family.
