Need fundraiser ideas for student summer trip to Paris.

I am the Key Club advisor at my high school. I also moderate/advise the board game club.

I run student council at my school. What types of activities does you school student council do throughout the year?

When you raise funds for your club where do you keep the funds until it’s time to use them? Admin would not allow us to fundraise last year and I really want to push back for this coming year but I am not sure how to approach it.
