Hats off to all the night shift people!

Hello All, I have been selected in the interview at NTT DATA and also submitted documents as requested by Recruiting HR. However , it's been a 10 days after docs submission but haven't received any call from HR for salary negotiation. On email follow up with HR, he said he is on it and will come back to me soon for further process. Any views.NTT DATA

Assuming it's a "normal" electric and not induction, the biggest thing to be aware of is that they are a *lot* slower to change temperature. If you need to turn down the temperature at some point in a recipe, you either need to adjust the knob well in advance or physically remove the pan from the burner or you'll overshoot. When turning the temperature up, go in small increments because it's very slow to undo!
Relatedly, if the pan's not in contact with the burner, it's not going to get much heat. This makes styles of cooking that involve constantly moving the pan essentially impossible.
They'll also need to make sure the cookware has a flat bottom -- if it's gotten bent out of shape over the years and doesn't sit flat, it won't have enough contact with the heating element.
I think the hardest part is getting used to managing the heat.
When I first used an electric stove...I would burn alot of foods. But once you get the hang of it,...it's not too bad.
