Yes! I had to do the same and was a huge carb and meat eater. I’m loving farmers markets for alternatives, in my area is called ‘Sprouts’ but they’re a great start. I also enjoyed the show on Hulu ‘Raw, Vegan, Not Gross’ and the recipes.
I also bought a food processor for about $50 and that was really impactful. Making most of my food was really the game changer, which is rough because I hate cooking, lol. But there are a lot of great vegan places on ubereats and such now too so you just have to experiment and learn what you like.
Don’t have it on me now, but there’s a really good vegan leek/cauliflower soup recipe.
Try Greek/Mediterranean recipes
What kind of food do you like? I have been vegan for 5 years and you will be surprise what all you can do your with your ingredients
I looooove the book/resource “Power Plates” by Gena Hamshaw. it has really great recipes with loads of information. Each recipe is a complete balanced vegan meal which removes a lot of the stress of alllll the nutritional leaning you have to do in the beginning!
I like to check out Purple Carrot every now and then. They have some good recipes you can see even without an account.
