The issue is to make sure it really is a light renovation project. I’ve known people who, when they started the work, ran into issue after issue. Just something to keep in mind.
Right. That’ll be a nice way if something is outdated cosmetically, and you get to put your own style in it. There are a lot of solid houses around me, but the last time they were updated was clearly the 70’s!
I suggest you and your boyfriend try some projects together before you take on renovating a house together. Do some escape rooms, paint a room together, build a piece of furniture. My dad said he and mom almost got divorced trying to hang wallpaper and my sil won’t let my brother in the room if she’s working on something. You want to make you don’t want to kill each other with these smaller projects before you lock in on a house.

Ahah that’s crazy! We do stuff like this all the time and are really on the same page. We are both quite calm people in general, but when it comes to decision making and physical things we are totally wired the same which works so well. Escape rooms we actually do regularly ahaha and love them! Thanks so much for the tip
