I will also suggest Walmart. It’s a job at least
Times are tough, after working for a company for over 16 years and seeing the door slammed shut. Now the more challenging part is to find the pay amd benefits that I had.
Also what's a great way to get hired somewhere? Should I try a little temporary work to start with or do Charity Work for some time and then see about really getting a job somewhere? I would settle for Walmart or Cliff's Local Market somewhere close by as I am in a Small Town in New York so not many options in a Small Town
Temp services are amazing for getting jobs within a week or even as soon as the next day. Never had an issue if I absolutely got in to a pinch during layoffs, went to a temp service, got a job under 24 hours.
I would best recommend you do a quick Google search putting "temp services near me" or, "staffing agencies". But, personally I would try going for a staffing agency first, though. Both are good options.
I hope the best for you, and I hope that this helps. Be sure to have your resumé available, it helps speed up the process. Good luck! (:
Yes I'm also struggling to find work but somehow I have come close to really getting a job like three different times and then I don't hear back from the potential employers uh why? Cause sadly it doesn't seem to be often when employers happen to see potential in people as compared to having experience and potential so the one thing that should matter is having a will to work right?
I showed up in person and emailed after. Worked for me after 2 years of applying digitally
Apply to Walmart. They are hiring. It’s a job at least
