So squirrels decided to eat my engine harness (thanks Honda for your eco friendly wiring).
I got it fixed but the acceleration still feels sluggish even when slamming the acceleration on sport mode. It’s a 2017 Honda Civic turbo and used to have a pretty fun acceleration. Any ideas what could be the culprit or where to look? Things like bad ECU/ messed up turbo/ air leak?

Have new car prices increased as much as used? Estimated market value of my car has increased by over $10k, so I’m considering selling it to upgrade. But if new prices have gone up as much, then it’s a wash and there’s no compelling financial reason to upgrade now.

Any experience / recommendations for extended car warranty companies? I have a Volvo XC40 still under factory warranty with an engine issue that isn’t easily resolved. Making me worry about being without a warranty in the future.

Looking for a used AWD SUV ~$20k price point, what would you recommend? Ideally 2012 or later with under 100k miles. Reliability and low lifetime maintenance costs are number 1 priority. Plan would be to run it into the ground eventually, not resell. Third row seating is a plus but not a requirement. Live in Colorado.

Looking to buy a model Y. Test drive it yesterday. Feels a bit sporty (not luxury comfy). Debating:
(1) lease vs. buy. Thoughts?
(2) is the $10K investment in FSD even worth it? I think no.

The maintenance contract on our 2017 440i is about to be up. We are looking at getting a porsche. 944 vs a 2008 cayman? Fun, low maintenance, not too ostentatious. What you do and why?

My lease is up in the coming months on my current vehicle. Wanting to upgrade to a Tesla Model 3. Will be able to put down around $10,000 down payment(don’t have enough saved to pay for it all in cash, and need a vehicle). Don’t really want to lease and thinking I want to buy new, but would be interested in hearing about people’s thoughts on buying used? Or other thoughts around the needing a vehicle but not having enough to buy it all in cash?
