Anyone have experience with the SNOO bassinet? Pros/cons? Thinking of renting one but super pricey would love to hear from those who’ve used it

We got one, it’s different for each baby. Some babies love it and some absolutely hate it.

For some it’s a mixed bag. For us it took few days for our LO to get used to it and then he started sleeping through the night but there are days he doesn’t want to be in it.

We bought it because we can’t afford a night nanny and we didn’t have family to help due to COVID. Basically SNOO is considered a substitute for night nanny

Just buy a used one for 700-800 .. and you can buy brand new sheets and swaddle that SNOO sells for 80$

Resell in 7 months

Buy it - worth every penny

We borrowed one from a friend. Hard to know how much of a difference it makes, and we still had some very rough nights. It's not a silver bullet, but if it saves you from hours of rocking each night, worth it.

I'm on the tail end of kid #2 in it and have also loaned it out to family. Each baby is different but it's been great for our two in helping to put them back to sleep on it's own on a regular basis. As others have said, not a silver bullet for all cases but when the baby is just fussy vs. hungry, it's helped more often than not.

I would suggest if you're going to use it, start immediately. I think it would be a lot harder to introduce later on.

As for the cost, I expect they hold value as our second and last should be out of it in a couple months and will recoup a good amount of the cost by selling it.

We used it and had an amazing experience. Baby fell asleep after a bit in the snoo nearly 100% of the time. Not sure how much is due to the snoo but will still recommend it!

So something crazy happened to me last week. I was at the airport, and as usual on call after call. The check in line was going ridiculously slowly and at some point turned threw my hands up in frustration while looking around to find another place to check in. In doing so, I catch the eye of the behind me. He smiles and says something. I just sort of nod and carry on with my call. After that, he keeps trying to talk to me, eventually I got to the check, say bye and leave. At security… tbc
