I did an internship on a sales desk. .. not that I'd know what it's really like being bottom of the pecking order, but looking back I can def appreciate not having to worry about risk and pnl overnight. Funny enough even picked up a good chunk of SQL and VBA during that process as well

Yea wouldn't mind transitioning to an options sales role down the road, not an uncommon path for traders. For more technical products having actual expertise is a differentiator than just copy pasting RFQs. I was on an equity sales desk , so I did a lot of the taking notes on research calls or formatting decks stuff like that , not glorious tasks but I at least learned about stocks

I started out as a graphic designer. Worked for about 4yrs in different roles. Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative. Like in 5-10 years I wouldn’t want to be a specialist or a ux director. I d like to be an art director or creative director. I love branding & marketing but also product.
