Why are we all posting our gender?
I see these types of posts a lot and feel like I need to comment as my spouse works for H&S and constantly brings it up...
Recruiters work for the hiring company and not candidate.
No quality recruiter will field an inbound connection from a candidate (unless it comes as a personal intro from a respected and well known client). She gets anywhere between a few dozen to several hundred cold (or semi warm) inbounds A DAY! Most recruiters at top firms keep multiple email addresses to filter the noise.
There is simply no time to meet potential future candidates. Any recruiter who is willing to meet a potential future candidate is at best not very good and and worst a sketchy "spray and pray" who will take you CV and bombard potential employers. If a company receives an unsolicited CV from a recruiter, they will black ball the candidate. So sending your CV to an unscrupulous recruiter is a quick way to get banned by target companies.
The best way to get on the radar of a top recruiter is either via senior execs you know at reputable hiring companies (e.g. the CFO of a large company introduces you as a potential CFO candidate for other similar companies) or via a recently placed candidate (recruiters always ask placed candidates "who else is just like you").
My wife is always talking about great candidates she finds only to later learn they are on a black list because some recruiter previously bombarded the entire HR dept with that person's CV.
This needs to be a pinned post. By all means maintain relationships with executive recruiters who have placed you in the past. But blindly sending CVs to ones you don't know is a waste of time. A more subtle approach would be to send one applying for a specific posted role and when after an initial discussion you determine it's not a good fit just ask to be kept in mind for similar future roles.

Yes since the menus are all in Silian Rail.
