I’m a senior associate in big law. I have two tone hair, a nose ring and conch piercings, and some visible tattoos. Unless you’re a litigator in a jurisdiction or in front of judges with weird dress code requirements, who cares how many holes you have in your ears and where. Your performance as an attorney is what matters, and you should have no qualms about reminding people of this.
I have 11 ear piercings total including my daith and I have never had anything but compliments on my stack. I have one visible tattoo that I cover for federal court but no one seems to care there either honestly
Life is so short. Get the piercing unless your firm policy has some weird no-piercing clause.
Had to Google what this is. Meh. Seems ok. Ear is typically okay.
I’ve had a tragus piercing and three lobe piercings in each ear since before I went to law school and literally no one has ever said anything critical about it. If anyone has said anything at all (which is rare), it’s been complimentary. I’m probably going to get a conch piercing soon. I’m in biglaw and also just got a visible tattoo that no one has said anything critical about. Get the piercing 🙂
