Any Digital Marketing openings for freshers?
Got a notification from Honeywell that my application is “under consideration”. Does this mean that it is actually under consideration, as in it didn’t get kicked out by ATS? Or is it just an acknowledgment that it was successfully submitted? It took about 3 business days to get the notification.
Hi, I am new to Canada and currently living in Vancouver, BC. I was looking for opportunities in the Financial Services industry in the Metro Vancouver Area. I have about 3 years of experience in the Banking/Financial Services and HealthTech industry and worked alongside IBM and PwC in developing and implementing cutting-edge FinTech products for business clients of a Financial Institution and led the Finance and data science team at a Health tech startup. Officially, no. Those that do, do so at managers discretion and not a formal process via HR (ie no contract change). Options for UK (not sure about Ireland) are available on the Accent on Family pages on the portal, there's a few options available but compressed hours isn't one of them. I don't have the link to hand but check out the flexible working policy for more info
Depends where you are.
Client facing: depends if you're client needs you there and what has been agreed in the contract and it's usually mon-fri business hours, so likely a no most of the time. I know BP do 9 day fortnights so every other Friday is off. Many other oil gas clients have half day Fridays.
Not client facing: depends where you are. Sales is most likely a no, corporate functions is very situational.
They used to allow 5 day compressed to 4 but these days it's harder as we do so much anyway it's hard to prove. Your options are work less days but you get paid less or continue as is.

Real answer: ask your HR for guidance. But have a story prepared beforehand as to how you can make it work, and perhaps more importantly how it’ll benefit the company. Good luck.
