The sooner you tell the truth the better.
The longer you ride out the lie, the more likely there is to be consequences once the truth is told.
Were lied to every minute of every day. If you speak up because you want to do the right thing, I’d think it would be hard for someone to recommend an underwriting review etc
Yeah you want to avoid committing insurance fraud
Why would he lie about a car accident unless there was an issue to begin with? There seems to be more here that’s not being stated. But that’s the auto adjuster mindset I have. He’s better off coming clean in the long run. There are going to be some major questions brought forth and they may want a recorded interview. Would recommend just doing what they ask at that point.
Did he just tell his insurance company it was stolen or did he actually report it to the police as being stolen?
