Out and about most of the day.
I honestly have gotten to where I just dont want to deal with all the people and crowds. People around here get kind of crazy. There was even a fight that broke out a few weeks ago when a brand new Bass Pro Shops opened up.,.. yes seriously.
I got a few things online. The big thing is that it seems that it is no longer just black friday... they have the sales going on before and after so its not worth the crowd. Its not what it used to be. There is more hostility sadly.
I got another 3D printer for my classroom.
Before one says, "Don't buy classroom equipment!" consider this. It happens to be my hobby. As a result, I am able to have my hobby a couple of feet from me to play with in my downtime.
For student work, I use filament purchased by the school. So, the only real cost is a bit of added wear.
I bought a few things for my kids on Amazon. That was it for me though, no "real" shopping. I'm dead tired after hosting my family for Thanksgiving yesterday. I haven't left the house once today and it's been lovely.
I dont skip it because there's always a good deal. However I'll wait until the crowd subsides a bit before going out to shop in person at the stores.
I feel like all of the best deals are online. I never find anything in the store worth all of the crazy traffic and crowds.
Amazon only
No cyber Monday sales for me. Only small businesses b purchases
I didn’t feel motivated to look into Black Friday specials this year. I’m glad I didn’t because from what I’m seeing online Black Friday was a big bust.
I do International Buy Nothing Day. I refuse to buy anything at all on Black Friday, even gas or groceries, and try to keep my purchases during the entire Christmas shopping season (first of November to weekend of January 6th, more or less) down to just essentals: groceries, utilities, food.
