When is a 3 page resume acceptable?
Just signed the outside employment form in KPMG onboarding system. I actually wanted to start dabbling in creative writing as a potentially monetizable hobby, but I'm guessing this may pose issues.
Definitely interested in the "exception from this policy may be requested if provision of non-professional services doesn't interfere with one's duties of causes conflict of interest" clause, though. Has anyone been able to get one of those before?

I have always been a physical book person. I don't know why but I can focus so much better when I have an actual book and not a screen. I don't know how anyone can read from a screen.
Thanks for technology but 100X physical books!
I taught ( retired now!) Literature. The district provides me with a copy of each book for 115 students. I like the paper copy anyway. iPads and Kindles give me a headache while reading. The kids have expressed that too!
Me too!
Love physical books but it’s easier to just download a e-book from the local library

I prefer to read physical books.
I haven't taught with traditional textbooks for 7 or 8 years. Almost exclusively digital tools that kids access on their chromebooks.
I’ll read either one, but I think students do better with physical copies for school. If it’s reading for fun, it probably matters less.
Physical. The tactile sense helps a person take in information. A mom was telling me about her son who hated reading until he picked up a physical book. Then he barely put it down.

Physical books all day long!
Definitely physical books! It's the only way to read better. Audio books and online books are inferior.
Definitely physical books, both for teaching and reading for pleasure!
To read/learn content definitely physical. For pleasure digital (cheaper and less cognition needed.)
Physical book during the day; Digital book at night.
I like the ability to use both. We have a digital curriculum, but I use physical books for extra practice for the students who want it.
Physical books. Covid results should show that online books are not better for learning.
Only have one class that can even uses a physical book anymore, and that’s just barely. I have built all of my own curriculum at this point.
Yikes!!
