Have anyone been low balled when they joined a consulting firm? If yes, how did you go about fixing the gap in salary? I think I was low balled as a senior consultant and there was a gap of about 20-25% when I was made the offer. I was naive and did not negotiate - still living with the consequences.
Have an offer leaving D as a 3rd year SC - Director at insurance company, $180 base + 15% bonus + $85k signing (includes relocation). Solid package or should I go back for more?
So I’m a second year consultant. Like most, I was disappointed with compensation this year and am pretty bearish on my future earning potential here. I’m currently interviewing with a big tech company (not FAANG but close) for a position with substantially higher pay as a business analyst. I really wanted to stay til SC/M but the money is too good to pass up. I guess my question is: are there any major downsides to exiting to industry “too early?” Has anyone done it and regretted it?
What can I expect (salary hike and/or bonus) this August as a first year SC? I joined in August last year. Top end Snapshots for firm and performance! 🙃
What’s the most updated base+bonus for a Consultant level role at ClearView HCP? SC? Anyone know the stats for Back Bay LSA at the same level?
Stick or twist question for the bowl. London. SC. Salary: £45k. Informed no promotions due to COVID. High ratings during time in grade - 1,1 & 2. Direct sales of over £1.1 + another £300k imminent. Requested in name by current client. Performing Senior Manager roles for over 18m - Currently Program Director for a critical project with control of £13m budget and 100+ people. Finished self-funded part-time MBA in Jan (73% average). Frustrated & demoralised. Being taken for a ride or delusional?
Wait five months to graduate out of a program make ~97 and be a senior consultant then look for jobs or look for them now as a analyst/consultant ( make about 75 ) from a salary perspective
Just got a 15% raise with my promo to SC, now a bit above 100k base salary. Happy with the large increase, but wondering if i am still peaving money on the table by not jumping ship? Have 4 YOE, primarily federal projects focusing on implementation, transformation, and tech work. Whats the general market landscape for someone in my shoes?
What is the the exit comp range for a Senior Consultant / Manager (post MBA)? More curious about the high end. My guess is ~150 - 300k total comp.
Was extended an offer for SC position at a smaller consulting firm. Originally asked for 130K base, offer given was closer to ~110K base with ~10K in performance bonus. When countering with desired 125K base, due to other opportunities, base was raised to 115K. Would be happier with 120K base, but is it worth pushing for?
1-year MBA in lieu of working worth it? Context: MBA cost is $100k (Emory), current salary also 100k. Been at the SC level under a year.
What’s a fair market hourly rate for a consultant (contract role)? A recruiter asked me what my hourly rate is for an M&A contracting role. Assume the title would be Consultant / Senior Consultant (i.e. 3-4 years of work experience).
SC @ D and need to make moves, I am ~40% below the salary band (long story). I’ve been applying but keep getting shot down. Ego is a little bruised, don’t feel entitled to positions, but (continued)

Best way to answer salary range question from third party recruiter when you don't have a ton of info? Was going to go with "since I am being promoted to senior consultant effective Oct 1st, I would expect something competitive with my new role and the experience I'd be bringing"
Hello looking to return to workday, any info on potencial salary for a senior consultant at big 4 ?
4 YOE out of UG, recently promoted to SC making 90k before bonus, like the job, company, and team. Worth thinking about jumping for a salary increase? Am doing federal work for reference. Only complaint is that i think i could make more elsewhere for the same amount of work, but also can see sticking it out to manager.

Hello there! I am new to this community and would like to ask you guys a quick question. How much is your hourly rate for a Senior AD in SF as a freelancer at an ad agency? THANKS!!
Georgia Tech Online Masters of Science in Analytics ($10K) or MIT Masters of Science in Business Analytics ($65K). Self funded. Georgia Tech would be part time (current salary is $100K). Obviously MIT is a better name, but debating whether the brand and exit is worth the full opportunity cost of $265K vs $10K
Whoever decided they should be called "dreamers" deserves a nice bonus. Seriously, great branding.
