Do big holdingco pharma agencies give annual bonuses? If so, what's typical at VP level?

They do. And it depends on their budget that year. For example, IPG Health prior to the OMC acquisition had different pools by seniority and each year that number was divided up at the discretion of agency leadership among eligible candidates.

It’s unclear in OMC’s case how that will go this year (and for awhile it was unclear if it would happen at all).

Each agency has their own process. It won’t be in your contract and not every person (at any level) gets the same (or any) bonus year-to-year.

3L with mostly A’s and B’s. I am having the worst luck trying to find work for after school and my experience working with lawyers has left me completely dejected. I cannot get an interview to save my life. I was so excited to get an externship summer after 2L with a small business and IP firm only to get yelled at on the phone a few times for not doing an assignment correctly. Mind you, I was working FOR FREE as it was a school connected externship. That made me never want to work in the law.

Recently, the CEO and my boss, the VP gave me the latitude to promote myself and "write my own" job description. I've been the Marketing Manager of this company for about 7 months. Already received 1 raise.

Much of the work in my "new" job description, I've already been doing. My currently salary is $70K. New title is Director of Communications and Systems Integration. What is a reasonable salary increase here.

I have about 7 years experience in this area.

I'm currently interviewing for a remote role for a company based in NY.

The thing is I'm based in a different city (southern U.S.)

Would it make sense to ask them directly how they determine comp for NY-bases vs. other city-based employees?
